“For me personally it was the diversity of industry leaders that were attending, this helps us as a business because we can build personal relationships with these groups and work together when needed. e.g since the dinner Alliance Project Group has engaged the services of the legal firm that was represented on the night we have also worked closely with a finance brokerage firm that attended on the evening. Other features from the evening were the speakers. Overall the calibre business leaders in one room were impressive.” – Kosta Koutoukis, Business Development Manager, Alliance Project Group
“The highlight of the event was a special guest – Matar Al Mansoori Charge D’affaires UAE embassy, with Mohamed El Hajje steering the robust discussion on Bilateral trade between Australia and the UAE.His Excellency spoke of the UAE’s year of tolerance and the sectors of opportunity for Australian business. “As with all AACCI events, the Alliance Iftar was beautifully organised and I was very grateful from a cultural perspective to be able to take part. The audience, as always, brought together a diverse group but with a subtle thread so that we all had something in common and to discuss. It was of course very interesting to hear from His Excellency Matar Al Mansoori the UAE Charge D’Affair on the opportunities he see for further development between Australia and the UAE. I was pleased to be able to share with the group a little of my recent experience in the region from an Education industry perspective given that Education is a long term pillar supporting social and economic development across the Gulf. – Simon Paine – Education Executive, UNSW Global
