WA Chapter
The Western Australia Chapter of the Australia Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AACCI) was founded in 1975 and today has about 70 members.
AACCI (WA) is based at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia (CCIWA), which supports AACCI with secretariat services. In addition AACCI documentation services (issue of Certificates of Origin, certification of visa letters etc) are available through both CCIWA and the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce.
The activities and services of AACCI (WA) are overseen by an eight-member Management Committee – a Chairman, Deputy Chairman and six elected committee members. Day-to-day management is the responsibility of the Executive Officer, who operates from the International Trade Centre at CCIWA.
AACCI (WA) conducts networking functions monthly, usually with a notable guest speaker. Meetings are also held with visiting trade delegations and diplomatic representatives of Arab countries. Outbound trade missions to Arab countries are also conducted periodically.
